Job Details
The Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) is looking for a Business Development Executive to establish and develop strategic relationships and partnerships between AMIC and the business community, leading the development and submission of collaborative grant applications and commercial proposals.
You will work collaboratively with industry, technology providers, national technology centres, and academia to secure key partnerships and projects focused on advanced manufacturing activities.

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
- Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering/Technology Management, ICT, Physical Sciences and with significant recent and relevant experience OR minimum HND in a similarly related discipline with extensive recent and relevant experience.
- Proven recent and relevant experience of successfully building and managing relationships and executing project management in a collaborative context.
- Evidenced experience of working with the business community successfully to deliver outcomes to benefit industry and address societal challenges.
- An understanding of the processes involved in compiling commercial proposals, grant funding bids or business cases.

This post is available on a fixed term contract for 3 years in the first instance. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
