The Finance team at the University of Greenwich are looking for a Finance Business Partner who can make an impact and actively contribute to a very friendly (and humorous) team atmosphere.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as the business partner for Student Academic Services, Information and Library Services, People Directorate and other areas. This involves:
  • Being part of the leadership team, ensuring commercial viability and financial discipline
  • Looking back: monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
  • Looking ahead: setting next year’s budget and the 5 year plan, plus maintaining in year forecasts
  • Creating and supporting business case production:
  • Support non-financial managers with the assessment of value for money and risks.
  • Assist managers in determining and making trade-offs.
  • Identify risks around supplier dependence, financial risks, and ways the university can be more sustainable.
  • Take ownership and accountability for your respective areas.
