Residences manage a diverse portfolio of properties and offer accommodation to c.6,500 students per year. The role of Residences Student Life Cycle Assistant Manager assists with the planning and running of all transactional Student Life Cycle events.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- To support with the planning of Life Cycle events, including but not limited to University Open days, Student Arrivals and Departures.
- Run targeted campaigns and events throughout the year to engage students on key messaging of living in halls.
- Work alongside the Student Engagement to support an activities programme in halls and to deliver the One Southampton Vision
- Assist with case management for student discipline and resolution, helping and assisting students to live harmoniously together in halls.
The key events for the service are recruitment events, departure, and arrival periods (June- October).
You will be Joining the team at an exciting time, where we are developing our out of hours provisions and ensuring the Residences Student Life Cycle is seamless, striving for Customer Service Excellence.
This role will support teams who work shifts therefore the post holder needs to:
- work Tuesday to Saturday
- work 12pm-8pm, with flexibility required during busy arrival periods
- be willing to contribute to the out of hours’ on call rota if required
