Maynooth University is seeking to recruit an experienced Accountant with a strong track record in financial administration to provide leadership to the processing operations of the Finance function. As a senior member of the Finance function, the post holder will play a key role in the efficient and effective running of the office, delivering a strong financial control environment and developing innovative work practices. The post holder will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be  a member of  the Finance Executive along with the Head of Financial Planning and the Head of Financial Reporting. They will work closely and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. the Human Resources Office, Registry, IT Services, Heads of Departments, the Higher Education Authority, Auditors and relevant Government Departments).

Salary

Senior Administrative Officer II (2024): €104,693 – €139,944 p.a. (6 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
